Vitamins for Everyday Women

Everybody needs vitamins in order to have the good health we all want. When talking strictly about women, there are some differences that need to be discussed and they are usually deficient in one or more vitamins. This is usually caused by an unhealthy lifestyle that leads us to not eating what we should. The result is a lack of essential vitamins in our bodies and this can lead to serious problems in the future. We recommend that you include all the needed foods and try to have a well balanced diet at all times so that you will obtain all the needed vitamins for women in your bodies. Let us see what vitamins for women are always needed and need to be on a priority list when talking about nutrition.

The first vitamin for women that need to be discussed is vitamin A. It is highly important in maintaining a good eyesight, smooth skin and healthy cell membranes. Vitamin A will aid the immune system by stimulating it and will make it easier to heal a wound. You will also need this vitamin to avoid birth defects that can appear if you do not have enough daily intake during pregnancy.

Never underestimate the importance of B vitamins for women. This includes thiamine (B1), niacin (B3), riboflavin (B2), pyridoxine (B6), folic acid (B9), cyanocobalamin (B12), choline, pantothetic acid and biotin. B Complex vitamins for women are very important as they aid in the creation of a balanced homocysteine level in blood. This basically means that B vitamins protect artery walls and are highly important when talking about having a healthy heart.

Vitamin C is of course an essential vitamin for both men and women as it helps in keeping skin healthy and looking good while reducing the risk of loss of cartilage. It is one of the most important vitamins out there and we recommend that you take it in connection with another antioxidant, vitamin E, for the best possible effect. Vitamin E will also have a direct effect through the action of supporting the proper functioning of muscles, cells, nerves, heart, skin and hair. We also recommend it as a vitamin for women that suffer from anemia and depression.

Do not forget about vitamin D as it can aid in lowering the risk of developing breast cancer. You will also require exposure to sunlight because it helps in the formation of Vitamin D in our bodies. Include vitamin K in your diet as well so that you will benefit from it reducing the risks of fracture to the hip bone and aiding the clotting of blood. Vitamin K is actually given to patients before surgery because of this fact.

Always remember that vitamins for women intake is only one part of what you need to do in order to live a healthy life. Do not neglect any essential nutrient and exercise frequently so that everything will work as well as possible. Avoid damaging factors and you will feel a lot better.
