Heart Healthy Vitamin E
When it comes to heart healthy vitamins there is a lot to talk about including how to supplement your regular diet to obtain the best results and what exact quantities should help various cases. It can all seem very complicated and hard to learn while dealing with heart problems is something that nobody wants to happen in their life. One of the vitamins that are heart healthy but are sometimes neglected do to a lack of knowledge is Vitamin E. Not a lot is known about it as you will rarely see it being sold alone, although people that have deficiencies or need for it will probably have learned its importance as it is recommended by doctors for a number of conditions. To put it simple, deficiency is dangerous for the human body and this does include the possibility of having a negative effect on your heart.
Vitamin E has been researched a lot and there are currently three major studies that showed there is a 40% heart disease risk reduction if you take supplements that contain Vitamin E. It is not recommended to be taken alone, unless it is especially prescribed by doctors, usually for women in some complications that can appear. Vitamin E will help against the possibility of developing Alzheimer, diabetes and dialysis problems while being a highly important anti inflammatory. It is recommended that you take in around 200 IU daily in order to relax arteries and have an impact on your heart. You should choose to take it in fatty meals or oil meals.
It has been long for a long time that Vitamin E has a beneficial effect on cholesterol levels, which in a direct link will aid blood flow more freely in our bodies, taking away extra impact form the heart. It is an antioxidant, protects blood fats and will prevent blood sticking, artery damage and clots. We could say that Vitamin E is similar to another member of the heart healthy vitamins family, Vitamin C, in the sense that they both keep cell fats and blood non toxic, thus directly aiding the heart function properly.
You need to be careful a little as Vitamin E doses that are too high can promote various problems. For instance, if you are on Warfarin, aspirin or high fish oil you should use lower doses. It is true that you prevent blood clotting but you also promote excessive bleeding if this combination is met. Such a problem is usually avoided by included smaller quantities of Vitamin E in all heart healthy vitamins. If deficiency is too high you should consult a doctor and make sure that you follow his recommendations to the letter in order to not have unpleasant surprises in the future. On the other hand, such cases are rarely met and it is not that easy to reach overdose as sometimes mentioned by people that are not specialists. Heart healthy Vitamin E needs to be taken from your daily diet and if that is not possible, vitamin supplements are crucial for the well being of your heart and body.
