Vitamin F Foods
Vitamin F is important for us and whenever we build a good diet plan we have to make sure that vitamin F foods are included in proper amounts. The problem is that this vitamin, which is basically made out of two essential fatty acids, is neglected by most of us. In fact, it is much more common to refer to it as essential fatty acids and we have a common misconception that such substances are not really important for us. This couldn’t be more wrong as vitamin F is highly important in a number of body functions and we should never neglect its role and the benefits associated.
There are different vitamin F foods available for us. The best quantities of essential fatty acids are found in grape seed oil, evening primrose oil, flaxseed oil and the various oils made out of seeds and nuts. Examples can be given in sunflower, sesame, walnuts and soybean. Vitamin F can also be found in various fish like trout, tuna, mackerel and salmon. Unfortunately a lot of people think that essential fatty acids are only found in fish, which is wrong. You should also be aware of the fact that vitamin F is available in avocado, a fruit that has many rare nutrients in it and should be considered in your diet in the event that you can afford buying it or can easily locate it at the local supermarket or general store. If you are especially looking for omega-3 essential fatty acid you should turn your attention towards walnut oil, fish and canola oil. If the vitamin F foods you want need to contain omega-6 essential fatty acid you should shift focus towards flaxseed oil, legumes, grape seed oil, nuts and seeds.
When adequate quantities of vitamin F foods can not be consumed for whatever reason possible we need to add supplementation to our diets. In most cases vitamin F supplements come under liquid or tablet form. Most specialists will recommend that you take liquid vitamin F foods because it is perfect for fast absorption and features high bio availability. In fact, most nutritionists claim that you should only focus on liquid vitamin supplements whenever talking about vitamin supplementation. Always remember that moisture and heat will alter vitamin F. It is always recommended that you refrigerate all vitamin F foods and supplements in order to make sure that you will take in all of the quantities of essential fatty acids included.
