Mango
Americans think the banana is the number one fruit, but in reality the world is dominated by the mango fruits. These are the tropical fruits that bring both benefits and also register a very high level in sales to consumers. The mango grows on all continents, even in North America.
The mango tree originates from tropical areas, where it can grow up to 40 meters in height. It has a very long life, of about 100 years, more than the majority of humans. The mango fruits are oval in shape, with a thin base and a green or orange peel.
Mango brings flavor to any type of food. When the fruit is not well ripped, it has a sweet-sour astringent taste. The ripped fruit tastes a lot sweeter and the presence of essential acids is not as well felt. Mangos contain bioactive elements that doctors think influence positively the general health and slow down the aging process. Introducing mangos in alimentation will help you maintain a healthy heart, a good sight, a strong immune system and a low risk of cancer development.

It can also furnish 60 percent of recommended amount of vitamin C, about 100 calories, fibers, 12 percent of daily amount of vitamin E and a quarter of the necessary vitamin B6. This combination of vitamins is known to reduce stress and to help us go through difficult depressions or nervous anxiety stages.
The mango can be consumed fresh as a fruit or in salads or other dishes, in ice creams and it is perfect when it comes to making shakes. The dried mango is used especially for cookies and cakes. Also, the mango is commercially powdered and sold as a condiment. The mango powder comes from mangoes that are picked up just before they ripe and then dried. If kept away from humidity, light, in well closed recipients, the mango power lasts for a few months. Sometimes this spice is commercialized as dries slices, brown in color. In this form, it lasts for over a year.
Despite popular believe, the mango is not only used for sweets. It can be added as a condiment for fried meat or fish, even in soups or stews. Mango powder is best when used with various vegetables.
