The Rosaceae Family includes dicotyledonous wooden and herbal plants like some human grown species: roses, apples, cherries, but also wild plants like eglantine, wild roses, raspberry etc.

All plants in this family present powerful therapeutic, esthetic and aromatherapy properties, due to their high volume of essential perfume particles and to the high quantity of vitamins contained by the plants that produce edible fruits.

Roses for example, have been around for many centuries and the wild species have been domesticated and enhanced to achieve best results. Nowadays we can find them in a vide variety and they bring aroma and color to every house and garden. They are also successfully used in the perfume industry, currently constituting one of the most important ingredients in a large amount of perfumes.

Plants that produce edible fruits from the rosaceae family are often used in curative purposes, due to their high count of active ingredients.

The raspberry for instance is part of the rosaceae family. Its leaves are rich in minerals, calcium, magnesium and Ferum. Raspberry leaves have been always considered a universal medicine when it comes to female health. They used to be introduced in small girls’ diets once they got their first menstruation, to help them deal with all the changes their body is going through. Raspberry leaves reduce cramps and excessive bleeding.

Raspberry tea is also used to improve fertility for quite some time now. Pregnant women from China, Europe and America used to drink this tea because it helped them escape from a great number of difficulties associated with pregnancy. It has been noted that even pregnant animals look for these leaves. Raspberry tea is used today during labor, because it seems that the substances it contains are a great stimulant for pelvic muscles and the uterus.

Another plant form the Rosaceae Family is the eglantine, also known as the wild rose. Its fruits present an energizing effect when eaten and they have a powerful role in gently balancing the body’s energy field.

The eglantine tea is made from its fruits, about two spoonfuls for half a litter of water. Eglantine tea will be consumed two or three times a day. It is a good inhibitor for cold symptoms and it helps our immune system recover better and faster after a disease.

The Rosaceae Family components are various and their properties can differ from plant to plant. Generally, they are all good in recovering the human body after a disease or stressful period, and they do bring a general state of well-being after consumed under any form.
