Chokeberry Syrup

The chokeberry is a plant that is not so known amongst the ordinary people and its benefits and properties are highly depreciated.

The obscure fact surrounding these plants is caused by the modern age, when everything became diversified and there are so many available alternatives to natural diets and medicine that no one cares to search alternative means of curing stress or illness, other than the pharmaceutical alternative.

Researchers all over the world tried recently to bring to masses’ attention the importance of chokeberry syrup or juice, as popularly referred. The study was based on the properties of this juice than can help our body diminish oxidation coming from muscular stress after an hour at the gym (or after completing a difficult sports task, or coming home from work if you have a hard job).

The oxidative danger you body is suppressed to after physical efforts is a term that has been developed to describe the state of muscular or tissue damage that can occur when the blood cells do not manage to transport enough oxygen to certain cells due to the increased need of oxygen requested by other cells. This caused the body to form a harmful component called free radicals that come from modified or incomplete oxygen cells. Free radicals are produces by our own organism, not inhaled, and they are creations of our stomach, metabolism. Their apparition is favored when we work-out or breathe contaminated air (smoking, pollution).

So, as you see, eliminating these radicals is a hard, almost impossible task, if we count all the means that can cause their appearance. We live in a modern world that unfortunately has all types of toxic environments we accept and populate gladly, and the apparition of free radicals is highly favored by them. But there are ways to minimize the internal process that produces the free radicals, and knowing all the risks and toxins we are exposing ourselves to every day, we are strongly advised to reduce our internal toxic residues by any means.

Chokeberry syrup allows our blood cells to transport oxygen more efficiently and faster than usual, so cells with a higher demand get their wanted quantity while other cells still have time to get the needed oxygen before they start developing reduced oxygen radicals. This is why a cup of tea is recommended after every workout hour, two or three times daily in normal un-stressful environmental conditions.
