Liquid Creatine

Creatine has been one of the fastest growing supplements in the health field for many years, and there is good reason why this is so. Put simply; creatine works and it works well. As opposed to the many questionable supplements that clog the shelves of health food stores, creatine has scientific evidence backing its effectiveness regarding muscle synthesis and growth. While creatine monohydrate may be sold by some of the same companies that sell what amounts to little more than snake oil, you can be sure that creatine, in its pure form, works as advertised.

As stated above, many companies sell creatine and they sell it in many incarnations. The most important thing to remember is to make sure that the only ingredient in your creatine supplement is creatine monohydrate. Anything else is added fodder that is generally ineffective. The most popular kind of creatine is that which is sold in powder form. The recommended instructions for powder creatine are usually one scoop per day, which amounts to about five grams of creatine. This is the recommended dosage for all kinds of creatine, from powder to liquid creatine.

Liquid creatine is often sold with claims that it is more effective than creatine in powder form. While the basic ingredient is still creatine monohydrate, liquid creatine comes with simple sugars that are usually fructose-based. The reason for this is because creatine works most effectively when it is combined with some form of fruit juice. This is because the sugar and carbohydrates help to carry the creatine to the muscles more quickly. While it is true that liquid creatine is more useful compared to using creatine powder with water, you can always mix creatine powder with apple juice and enjoy the same benefits.

In a similar vein, many companies sell chewable creatine tablets. These offer the same basic idea as creatine in liquid form. The sugars and carbohydrates in the tablets help to push the creatine into the muscles. All forms of creatine monohydrate do wonders for a person who regularly works out so, in a sense, all are winners. The key is to experiment and find out which kind of creatine suits you the best. After that, it is simply a matter of keeping up your creatine intake. Remember to always follow the recommended instructions on the label of whichever creatine supplement you purchase. With that said, you can begin to enjoy the benefits of creatine within days.
