Creatine Serum

Creatine can take many different forms. This is a testament to just how well creatine, in its many incarnations, works at helping bodybuilders and weightlifters to significantly increase their muscle and strength gains.

Creatine in its powder form is the most popular kind of creatine currently being sold. The powder can be flavored or unflavored, though most prefer their creatine to have no flavor. This is because the powder, which must be mixed with a fluid, may ruin the taste of the mixture if it is in fact flavored. Most people, when taking creatine in its powder form, prefer to mix it with fruit juice. This is because the carbohydrates and sugars in the fruit juice help the creatine to transfer to the muscles more quickly and with more ease. For that reason, unflavored creatine is often the powder of choice for today's weightlifters.

Creatine serum is quickly gaining ground in the creatine battle as well. Creatine serum uses the same basic idea as the powder when it is mixed with fruit juice. Since creatine has been proven to be more effective when mixed with simple sugars and carbohydrates, creatine serum solves the problem by being a liquid mixture of creatine and fruit-based fluid. Creatine serum is often called liquid creatine, but the basic idea is the same: Mix creatine monohydrate with a bit of simple sugar and carbohydrates and it will be more effective when used.

There is also a fairly large market for creatine tablets. Some of these tablets are pills that are meant to be swallowed, but more often they are chewable tablets. These tablets are almost always flavored and two tablets usually make up a serving size containing around five grams of creatine. These tablets also use the idea that sugar and carbs can help move creatine into the muscles more quickly. This is why the tablets are chewable and flavored. The bit of sugar in the tablet is used for the intended purpose of making the creatine more effective.

No matter what incarnation of creatine that you choose, remember to always follow the instructions. Too much creatine can damage your liver irreparably and may also complicate other vital organs. Remember to consume no more than five grams of creatine a day, unless you are in the "loading phase". When loading, don't exceed more than thirty grams of creatine a day, and don't let your loading phase last more than five days in a month. With proper use and maintenance, creatine can help your body to vastly increase its strength and size.
