Here are some interesting facts that you were probably not aware of when thinking about citrus fruits.

1. The sourer citrus fruits are, the more vitamin C they enclose. FALSE

The sour taste is given by the citrus acid that has nothing to do with vitamin C.

2. Citrus fruits stimulate immunity. TRUE

In truth, all fruits containing high doses of vitamin C stimulate immunity.

3. Lemon juice might cause digestive problems. FALSE

The citric acid motivates the gastric acid’s variation in our stomach and at the same time activates abdomen muscles. It’s recommended to consume two spoonfuls of lemon juice during every meal.

4. Citrus fruits contain the biggest vitamin C quantity. FALSE
