Blueberry Extract and Vitamin C

The main effect of blueberry extract is detoxifying the organism. Because of the high fiber content, blueberries stimulate the toxin elimination process.

During summer you should eat a daily portion of forest fruits. Blueberries are often referred to as a natural multivitamin pill. The vitamins A, C, E as well as potassium, Calcium and Ferum from these fruits prevent asthenia, insomnia and re-new our bodies. But we can’t always gain access to fresh fruits, therefore we can use the blueberry extract instead. This extract contains about 200 mg of vitamin C per capsule, the equivalent of 100 grams of blueberries. Blueberries are exceeded in the high vitamin C content only by rosehips.

The lack of vitamin C form our diet affects the synthesis of noradrenalin, a neurotransmitter. Due to this lack, we experience depressions and asthenia. Because of vitamin C, the blueberry extract not only prevents asthenia, but in many cases it rescues people from developing anemia. When we lack vitamin C, we can develop anemia because the amount of Fe absorbed is highly narrowed. It is a proven fact that Fe is better assimilated when enough quantities of vitamin C are consumed daily, therefore a portion of blueberry extract is recommended daily both to adults and children. Nutritionists advise us to take advantage of the natural extracts rather than swallow synthetic multivitamins.

The blueberry extract is also high is other vitamins such as A and E, vitamins that help our body cells live longer and maintain a natural and normal blood flow through our arteries. Vitamin E is a known anti-aging agent that is contained by most cosmetic care creams, but it has the same effect even if it is orally taken under the form of a pill. Vitamins also improve the function of our immune system, allowing our body to fight infections and viruses more effectively.

Pills or syrups that contain blueberry extract are found on the market, sometimes under the form of alimentary supplements or presented as natural pharmaceutical products. No matter what your choice is, keep in mind that the vitamin C contained by these products is not harmful to your organism in any way, because vitamin c is not stored but eliminated very rapidly. This is why we must always assure at least the minimal quantities every day, as it is a vital component of a healthy life.

If we consume blueberries under any form daily, we will get better results from our diets, and start feeling better and more alive, even managing to increase our memory and work results.
