Raspberry Recipes
The raspberry is the bears’ favorite food. If they savor it, it means that they must know what’s good and we can also enjoy it. Raspberry cookies are so full of flavor and perfume that you might even start fearing that a bear from the woods will smell them and show up uninvited at your door.
Raspberry Salad
Who said that only sweets taste wonderfully when they are prepared with fresh fruits? The raspberry salad is especially delicious firstly because of the combination with the lettuces with are slightly bitter and the raspberry witch has to be as sweet and as ripen as possible. You will need a big white or red onion, but remember that it has to be a water onion that is not very spicy. Anyway, you should cut up the onion into four pieces and keep it in cold water for at least one hour before using.
Next to onions use two lettuces, a cup full of raspberries, fresh leaves of basil witch you can find in markets or hypermarkets, olive oil, balsamic oil, salt and pine gemmates. You will wash the lettuces well, undo leaves and break them in big pieces (do not cut them because they will lose their aroma). The onion is cut into small pieces, the raspberries are left intact. Place in a big salad bowl alternative layers of lettuce, onion and raspberries. Mix the crushed basil leaves with the Pine seeds the salt and the pepper then add the olive oil and the balsamic vinegar, in such a way that a sauce can be formed, that will get poured on top of the salad.
Raspberry Brioches
Brioches are ideal for breakfast , assorted with a cup of milk and coffee, but also perfect for a tasty snack in summer afternoons, next to a fresh lemonade and especially made to fit the taste of children, because they are small and easily maneuverable, simply perfect for their small hands.
For raspberry brioches you will need 200 grams of raspberries, that will be powdered with 2 spoonfuls of flour, witch will help the fruits to keep their place in the middle of the composition and not lower themselves towards the bottom of the brioche oven shape.
Before you start preparing the dough, heat up the oven at about 200 degrees and cover in paper the brioche cooking shapes. For the dough, mix 120 grams of soft butter with 120 grams of sugar, until the sugar is totally melted, then add to the composition one egg and just a little bit of salt. Homogenize the blend well, and then add 250 grams of flour, an little sachet of baking powder and half a spoon of bicarbonate. In the end, add 300 grams of natural yogurt of fruity yogurt and the raspberries powdered with flour. Pour the dough obtained this way into shapes and introduce the brioches into the oven for 20 minutes. Get the shapes out of the oven and leave them to cool down completely, them ornament them, depending on preferences, with sugar or vanilla sugar (about 150 grams that must be mixed with a few spoons of lemon or forest fruits juice). Mix the juice and the vanilla sugar well, then gently spray it on top of the brioches with a syringe or with a little bag cut in one corner a little bit.
