Raspberry Bushes

The raspberry is a wild fruit, of small dimensions with a glandular aspect, and it is produced by raspberry bushes that grow well in cold regions and produce fruits usually in June and September. The raspberry bush is a branchy evergreen bush, with straight strains that are arched towards the top, with straight spikes on branches that look like needles and are sometime only situated on the inferior parts of the raspberry bush. The leaves are green and silver on the back and the flowers are usually white. The plant produces delicious fruits, usually read, but we can also find black or yellow raspberries. The fruits smell nice and have a sweet-sour taste.

The raspberry bush blooms from May to July and spontaneously grows in rocky regions from fields to mountain peaks, in forests and hills. This plant love the temperate climate and it will resist well during cold winters and hot summers. People domesticated this plant and many grow it at home or in specialized farms. In markets, we can usually tell between the raspberries that come from wild bushes and those who don’t because of the slightly more vivid color of the wild fruits. If you buy raspberries, remember that they will only last for 24 hours after they have been purchased.

The raspberry bushes offer endless possibilities when it comes to medical treatments. From them, we use almost everything. For example, from young raspberry scions some drugs have been developed that have a wide specter of possibilities and are used to treat many types of infectious or generic conditions. The fresh branches are weighted and then introduced into a bottle to macerate for 4 to 5 days in strong alcohol; witch has to completely cover the plant parts. To this mix is added water and glycerin so that we make the liquid that is composed of water glycerin and alcohol 20 times heavier that the plant parts. Maceration is continued for one more month, and then the plant remains are filtered, the mix left like that for 48 more hours and filtered again. Treatments with glycerol- alcoholic raspberry extract have extraordinary effects against diseases of the female reproductive system, also rebalancing the deranged ovarian equilibrium.

Consuming about 30 to 50 drops of this extract from raspberry bushes in two daily portions will have good effects against premenstrual problems like breaths and stomach aches or high blood pressure.

The raspberry bush scions extract prevents early aging in women. To increase the treatment’s efficacy, certain associations with extracts from other forest fruits are recommended, depending on the medical condition. Against early again raspberry extract can be mixed with rosemary leaves or tea.
